No Policy. Too Weak To Stand Up To State Labor

NO.058

NO POLICY. TOO WEAK TO STAND UP TO STATE LABOR

The housing affordability paper released by Kevin Rudd today is just another Hawker Britten stunt.

As Mr Rudd says on page 19, none of the proposals represent election commitments.

Further on page 20: “they do not represent Labor policy.”

The paper is a confidence trick designed to make people think he has a policy which, when you read it, says it is not a policy, nor a commitment at all.

Every Australian knows State governments are ripping money out of home buyers with infrastructures and stamp duties.

Mr Rudd does not have the strength to stand up to State Labor governments. He would slug federal taxpayers more to make up for State failures.
