REVIEW OF BUSINESS TAXATION The Review of Business Taxation chaired by Mr John Ralph and the Governments response will be released by the Treasurer next Tuesday, September 21. The Review and the response will be made available to the media under strict embargo from 9am in the Main Committee Room and details may not be broadcast until 11.45am that day. There will be officials available to answer questions, and the Treasurer will hold a press conference at 11.45am in 2R1. Lock-up rules will apply between 9 and 11.45am. Only working journalists will be permitted access. All media must sign an undertaking before access is allowed. No mobile phones will be allowed in the room. While journalists can take in other equipment such as lap-tops, there will be no transmitting facilities, nor facilities to communicate outside the lock-up area. Once in journalists will not be able to leave before the expiry of the embargo, but are free to enter any time after 9am.
