The 8th APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting in China
I will be visiting China from Friday, September 7 to Sunday, September 9, to attend the 8th APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting in Suzhou.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for regional Finance Ministers to discuss the outlook for the regional economies and world growth.
Ministers attending will focus on the related challenges of deepening structural adjustment and reform to underpin sustainable economic growth, while ensuring that benefits are distributed widely.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for discussion on liberalisation of trade and investment in the region.
